Deadheading: you either love it or loathe it. For some people it’s hugely satisfying, while others find it a massive chore and are tempted not to bother.
After all, surely not all plants need it? In truth, there are some flowers that should be left in situ, but these tend to be the exceptions. Deadheading the likes of cosmos prevents seeds forming and directs the plant’s energies into
