PLANT WINTER COLOUR
The days may be getting shorter, but you can still add colour to your garden with foliage and flowers. This is the peak time for planting winter bedding, which is a cheap and easy way of filling the gaps left by summer bedding and fading perennials. Pansies, violas, hardy cyclamen, bellis, dianthus, wallflowers, stocks there is a seemingly endless list of suitable plants to suit every colour scheme and taste. Several, such as pansies and cyclamen, are ideal for brightening areas shaded by trees, large shrubs or fences.
