There’s no getting away from the fact that in winter, when it’s cold, and perhaps windy too, we sometimes don’t feel like taking a stroll around the garden in boots and a heavy coat to admire the results of our efforts. Luckily, we don’t always have to – thanks to plants that can be appreciated as we stand at the kitchen sink or look out of the bedroom window. At this time of year you need options with impact from a distance – whether that is courtesy of flowers, foliage or even bark.
