1. Leafy greens. Certain greens can tolerate lower temperatures and won’t be killed by a spring frost. Try cabbage, kale, leeks, parsley and spinach.
2. Asparagus. Like the greens, asparagus can tolerate cooler temperatures in early spring. This is also a perennial plant, so you won’t have to replace it year after year.
