FOR many years now one of the first sales of the year at Christie’s South Kensington has been its Ski Poster auction, an annual harbinger of the winter sports season and a diary date for those keen to secure vintage images of their favourite resorts to decorate their homes, Anne Crane writes.
That time has come round again, although this year the ski posters will be a section within CSK’s multi-discipline Interiors auction rather than a stand-alone catalogue. Billed as Interiors including the Ski Sale, it takes place on January 11.
