FOR ITS 44th year, boats and yachts fl ooded Tarbert harbour to take part in the gruelling four-day competition that is the Scottish Series.
David Kelly and his crew on Storm of Howth Yacht Club, outside Dublin, not only returned from winning their class the previous year to win again, but also won the overall Clyde Cruising Club’s Scottish Series Trophy. On top of that, Kelly walked away with the Rose Bowl for best boat in the Luddon IRC fl eet and the McIver Salver.
