DAMP weather did not deter a soil specialist during a Farm Advisory Service (FAS) event in Mid Argyll.

Gavin Elrick, who braved the elements and held some lively debates covering the need to soil sample, get pH, P and K status corrected, which in turn will improve grass growth and tillering.

As part of the new FAS initiative, the well attended workshop was hosted recently by Iain Malcolm of Nether Largie Farm, Kilmartin.
