The cadets get to grips with a fire hose.
WATCH manager Dun-can Litster welcomed a group of Argyll and Sutherland Highland ers army cadets from Falkirk to Lochgilphead fire station as part of their two-star Cadet and Community qualification.
The cadets learned about the different jobs undertaken by the fire service. They were shown key lifesaving skills and how to remove a motorbike helmet from an injured biker. After a lecture and station tour, the cadets were very interested in learning about the equipment on the fire engine - and had great fun blasting the fire hose.
