Community groups to receive council funding

‘We would like to thank everyone who submitted an application, and all those who took the time to vote – over 4,500 of you’

ARGYLL and Bute Council has announced the projects in Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay that will receive funding from the Supporting Communities Fund.

Voting closed at midnight on Monday April 30, and the projects which will receive funding will be Blarbuie Woodland Enterprise, Community Bus Running Costs, Community Regatta, Fèis an Tairbeirt, Islay and Jura Youth Wind Band, Islay House Community Garden, Kintyre Youth Cafe, Loch Fyne Pipe Band, Save Our Lunch Club, Tarbert – Our Castle of Kings, Tarbert Academy Forest Friends Wildlife, Heritage Youth Activities, and the Youth Brass Championships.
