Authors join celebrations marking the role of independent bookshops

LOCHGILPEAD’S Argyll Book Centre joined in the celebrations for independent bookshops on Saturday with visits from two authors.

‘Books are my bag’ bunting decorated the shop as it joined in the annual event, held on the first Saturday in October to remind the public how important independent bookshops are for their communities.

The visiting authors were Jess Smith and Alan Windram.
