FOLLOWING the election of the Scottish National Party for a third consecutive term in government, housing organisations in Scotland have called upon the Scottish Government to make good its pre-election promises on housing.
High on the list of pledges was tackling the severe lack of housing in Scotland and among those calling for real commitment on the issue is the chief executive of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, Mary Taylor.
Given the SNP failed to retain an over-all majority, she urged all parties to work together ‘constructively to build the affordable housing to which they are all committed’.
