Authority urges vigilance over child protection

ARGYLL and Bute Council’s child protection committee has asked residents to get in contact if they believe a child is in danger.

The child protection campaign aims to inform parents and young people on how to recognise if a child is at risk of sexual exploitation.

Policy lead for health and social care Councillor Kieron Green said: ‘Protecting children and young people and keeping them safe is something everyone needs to step up and take responsibility for.
