Nasty little bug

READING descriptions of the symptoms of the norovirus, this is one infection worth avoiding. It is not pleasant.

Thankfully, the outbreak at the beginning of the week at Mid Argyll Hospital affected, according to the NHS, just a handful of people. It appears at this stage that prompt action by NHS staff helped to avoid a more widespread outbreak. A precautionary closure of the Glenaray ward was the sensible thing to do, and now we can only hope that we’ve seen the last of this nasty bug for now.
