THE FUTURE of Mid Argyll Young Farmers’ Club hangs on new people coming forward at its AGM to organise and attend events.
The 20-strong team behind the club, which reformed in 2016 after it folded five years ago, has been busy organising fun and useful events, including sheep-shearing lessons, a car treasure hunt, stock-judging in Oban, trips to Allt Dearg windfarm, a machinery valuation night, and a stand at the Mid-Argyll Agricultural Show where passers-by had to guess the number of balloons in a tractor.
