Armed Forces Day announced


THE ONLY Armed Forces Day in Argyll and Bute is returning this year and details have just been announced. The Lochgilphead Armed Forces Day will take place on Saturday June 10 at the front green in Lochgilphead. People are encouraged to turn up at 11.45am as a packed programme of events will take place throughout the afternoon.

There will be a parade at noon featuring veterans, serving personnel and cadets, who will march from the Drill Hall to Poltalloch Street for an inspection. The march will be led by celebrity mascot Cruachan IV.
