Thanksgiving and sadness as church closes

PEOPLE from all over the world came to mark the end of an era as the final service was held in Lochfyneside Church, Minard.

People enjoyed tea and conversation afterwards.

Among the congregation on July 10 were David and Rose Fife-Jackson, who were on holiday from Australia. They married in the church 48 years ago and had served in the church – David as an elder and Rosemary as a Sunday school teacher.
