TWO Argyll island breweries have been selected by a supermarket giant to be included in its 10th Scottish Beer Festival.
Terror Of Tobermory ale from Mull-based Argyll Breweries and Angus Og ale from Islay Ales Company, Bridgend, will appear in Aldi’s 67 Scottish stores during the autumn.
The two Argyll ales are among 35 different beers – from some of Scotland’s best breweries – selected to take part. Aldi claims the in-store event could generate sales worth more than £175,000 for the breweries involved.
