Talented pianist Clare Hammond will be performing in Ardrishaig this weekend
MID ARGYLL Arts Association (MAAA) will be welcoming an award-winning pianist to Ardrishaig Public Hall tomorrow (Saturday April 28) at 7.30pm. Clare Hammond has previously won the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Young Artist
Award in recognition of her musical achievements. She has also been dubbed by the BBC as having a ‘reputation for brilliantly imaginative concert programmes’. She has most recently performed Edwin Roxburgh’s Concerto for Piano and Winds with the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Michael Seal and Panufnik’s Piano Concerto with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra under Jacek Kaspszyk…Tickets to this unique night of music cost £12 for adults and £10 for concessions with school pupils free.
