Stillbirth and miscarriage – breaking taboo

I was pleased recently to meet with Ian Davidson, president of Mid Argyll Rotary Club, to receive a donation of £100.

I had been invited to speak at a Mid Argyll Rotary meeting where I talked about the work of SiMBA in Argyll and throughout the UK.

It was one of the best speaking engagements I’ve been invited to, and the members present were so very open about their own experiences and their thoughts and understandings of baby loss. I was honoured to accept the donation, which will help the charity continue to make such a difference to bereaved families in Argyll, to reach out to those who want to access our services.
