Careless driving

FOLLOWING inquiries into a road incident involving an overturned lorry on Monday September 18, a 33-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal for careless driving. The incident, on the A816 near Ardfern, forced the closure of the Oban to Lochgilphead road for a time.

Damaged vehicle

BETWEEN 4pm on Wednesday September 20 and 9am on Thursday September 21, a black Mercedes car was damaged in Lorne Street, Lochgilphead, while parked in a secure yard. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Scott Trevathen at Lochgilphead Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
