Disability access fund grows as artist donates picture to Tarbert church

MUCH-NEEDED disability access facilities for Tarbert Parish Church was the focus for a well-attended coffee morning in the village.

With funding proving to be elusive for this project, church members held the coffee morning last Saturday to raise money towards the scheme.

Lisa MacFarlane of Tarbert Church said: ‘We think it is important to provide access for all who wish to use the church and hall as well as providing toilet facilities that are wheelchair friendly, particularly since the work on the main building has given Tarbert a beautiful church.’
