The Boomerangs come soaring back

FRIDAY night saw five senior vocal ensembles and choirs take to the stage in three different class- es. The Boomerangs, a jazzy vocal quintet, fended off tough competition from B Natural to win the Kilmartin Hotel Shield with a sharp, energetic performance of T’aint What You Do.

In the adult choir class, Bar None Community Choir wowed the audience and adjudicators with two emotionally- charged performances.

The primary school choirs stole the hearts of the audience on Saturday as eight different groups serenaded the sunny main hall at Lochgilphead Joint Campus, with Ardrishaig Primary and Inveraray Primary both impressing in the Scots and Gaelic classes.
