THE IMPACT on Tarbert’s roads will be kept to a minimum while the village sewers undergo a major upgrade.
The undertaking was given by Scottish Water in the wake of a public information day at the Templars Hall on Wednesday March 28.
A £3 million scheme is expected to begin early in 2019 and take about nine to 12 months to complete. The project will involve the installation of a larger diameter pipe between Barmore Road, the harbour and pumping station.
