OBAN proved to be a happy hunting ground for Mid Argyll competitors in last week’s local Mòd.
At Oban and District Provincial Mòd last Friday and Saturday, Inveraray’s Feorlin Renton won the Argyll and Bute Council Cup for the second year in succession in the girls and boys aged 7-8 learners competition, singing their own choice of song.
Fellow Inveraray pupils Rosie Blyth and Autumn Tierney-Clark also competed in this large class in what was their first provincial Mod competition.
