THE SECOND Port Ban open day defied the weather on September 24 in Kilberry – and raised a signifi-cant sum for charity.
Jonathan Sheldrick, of the holiday park, said: ‘Our thanks to all who attended on Saturday in spite of the atrocious weather conditions.
‘A special thanks to the stallhold ers and contributors, especially the Kilberry Church cake stall and the local Coastguard for attending. And to those who organised the ceilidh in the evening, Graeme Barrie, Davey Hay and Issy Dunn, which was well attended.’
