Thought for the Week

I WONDER how we define emotion.

Emotion is not something we consciously enter into. Rather it is something that pervades our mood and we can do little about it.

Emotion can take us to the heights when we experience happiness and joy. But it can also take us to the depths when we feel the stranglehold of grief upon our souls.

Grief can be very personal and private, but at the same time can be owned by an entire community. Grief is something that is common to our humanity, and no one will escape it.
