Following a successful visit last year, auctioneers will be returning to Arran next week in a bid to uncover more hidden treasures.
The team from McTear’s gave several islanders the surprise of their life last year when a rare Chinese Bronze Foe Dog and spectacular coin collection were discovered during the visit.
The Chinese antique, which featured a female dog lying with a young dog, later sold for £3,400, while the collection of gold sovereigns and highly collectable coin sets was snapped up by collectors for £8,000.
