Arran residents are invited to have their say on the future of the island’s health and social care provision.
Consultation is now open on North Ayrshire health and social care partnership’s new three-year strategic plan for 2018-21. A drop-in session on Arran will hope to address factors like the rise in demand for services and current funding cuts, whilst helping people to stay informed about how to best improve their health.
Councillor Robert Foster, chairman of the health and social care partnership strategic planning group, said: ‘We will have to work differently to ensure we provide the services that people need and, just as importantly, ensure they have the tools and knowledge to have a positive impact on their own health.
