Talk-in held for subsea cable

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) has been gathering information from Arran residents during its two-day consultation on its proposal to replace the existing submarine cable which connects Arran to Carradale.

The drop-in consultation, which took place at the Auchrannie Hotel on Monday and Tuesday this week, saw the SSEN project team laying out the plans and collating opinions, feedback and concerns which will be taken into account prior to submitting a pre-application consultation report to Marine Scotland.
