100m HURDLES

Cindy Roleder: with 12.62, beat GB hope Tiffany Porter, who gained bronze
TIFFANY PORTER, the defending champion, had to settle for the bronze.
The Brit was beaten by the two Europeans who were surprisingly ahead of her in last year’s world championship in Beijing and she will need a big improvement in form to be a factor in Rio.
Cindy Roleder, who was second in China, again rose to the occasion and, with a superb last three hurdles, won clearly in a European lead of 12.62. She was sixth in 2012 and third in 2014.
