IN JANUARY 2015 WADA introduced an updated version of the International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information – the 'Standard' – to establish rules which would govern the minimum level of protection provided by anti-doping organisations. This Standard obliges anti-doping organisations to ensure “appropriate, sufficient and effective privacy protections” are implemented regardless of the level of protection offered by countryspecific laws which must also be adhere to in addition ...
