Australian Country  |  issue 24.5
We’ve a bumper crop of features for your reading pleasure. We’ve been to Boonah in south-east Queensland to visit author Tabitha Bird at home in the glorious foodie and holiday destination of the Scenic Rim. Plus in NSW we caught up with You’ve Got to Be Kidding’s Todd Alexander and Jeff Ross and their menagerie of animals in their new home in the hills of the Upper Hunter Valley, and we stopped over in Muswellbrook to shoot Houghton Regis, the early 1900s home that Tracy and Jason Adams have painstakingly restored. In South Australia, we reconnected with our old friend Evelyn Neis in her new barn-style home in the Adelaide Hills, while down in Tasmania, we met Anna and Rowan Clark on the farm where they create an amazing crop maze to celebrate the end of each year’s harvest. Our travel feature ventured to the south coast of NSW and the many wonderful opportunities that await visitors to Narooma, Tilba and Bermagui. There’s design, shopping and travel inspiration in all our features, so if you’re planning a road trip, or even a move to the country, we’ve got lots of inspiration and many areas covered.
