Australian Railway History  |  Oct-14
The October ARH presents articles across four states, commencing with Mike Quirk’s account of the Moselle accident in Queensland, which claimed the lives of three enginemen. The feature article is Part 2 of Keith Robinson’s ‘Fitters’ Tales’, which describes the maintenance and heavy overhaul of steam locomotives at Sydney’s Enfield Depot.
The issue also includes the history of Belmont Park Station in Perth and the trains that served racecourse traffic to that location, together with Part 2 of Jeff Stocco’s article on ‘Paper Railways of Victoria’. Along with Railway Digest, ARH is now available digitally as an app for iOS and Android devices.
