Alfa Romeo enthusiasts rightly revere Alfa’s V6 engines, but this month we celebrate eight-cylinder Alfas. All of them – from the 1924 P2 up to the 2008 8C Competizione – are featured in full glory. We also test a 10-cylinder car (Lamborghini’s latest Huracán Performante Spyder) and 12-cylinder legends in the form of the Ferrari Testarossa family, plus a royal one-off Ferrari 250 GT by Pinin Farina. Speaking of Farina, we interview Paolo Pininfarina on the classic inspiration behind the design house’s new direction. And while the Lancia integrale gets most of the plaudits in the Delta family, the early HF Turbo is even rarer. We introduce a newcomer to our team fleet – a Maserati Quattroporte IV. Mix in classic racers such as the 1948 Giannini 750 Sport and Imola racing, the NEC classic show and there’s rarely been a richer seam of Italian gold to tap into.

Auto Italia magazine is dedicated to the owner, collector and admirer of Italian cars. From Fiat to Ferrari and Alfa Romeo to Zagato, all marques presented in this high quality publication are supported by specially commissioned original photography.

Each issue is brought to you by a team of writers and photographers who have a passion for all things Italian; the country, the lifestyle, the cars. Each one of them has a background of either Italian car ownership, motor racing or engineering.

The informative content covers new car launches, road and track tests of historic, classic and current range cars, competition cars, buyers guides and interviews with prominent personalities.

Auto Italia is a collectable, continuous history of the Italian automotive industry and is unique in publishing in-depth features on the specialist coachbuilders that created a seemingly endless catalogue of vehicles. Many of these cars are unknown to even the most dedicated Italian car enthusiast and are often presented with previously unpublished archive photography.
