USA Baseball’s inluence was felt during the 2019 MLB Drat as 15 of the organization’s alumni were irst-round picks.
Among those irst-round selections was irstoverall pick Adley Rutschman of Oregon State and a member of the 2018 USA Baseball Col- legiate National Team. He is the seventh consecutive USA Baseball alum to be selected No. 1 overall following Casey Mize (2018), Royce Lewis (2017), Mickey Moniak (2016), Dansby Swanson (2015), Brady Aiken (2014) and Mark Appel (2013).
