Jordan, being Michael Jordan and all the marketing power that brings, reportedly received a couple different offers from major league teams who wondered if Jordan’s reported interest in baseball was sincere. It was, and soon the 6-foot-6 Jordan was roaming the outfield for the Double-A Birmingham Barons, a minor league affiliate for the Chicago White Sox.
