This one is so sharp that it’s almost too good to be true. One of just three copies to earn a grade of Mint 9 from SGC, it appears “as if it was cut on the production line just yesterday with absolutely zero edge wear present [and] boasts virtually perfect centering with dagger corners [with precise] registration,” according to the auction description. No doubt the sheer perfection of this notoriously f awed RC scared off some buyers, but the 62 bids it did attract drove it to a staggering hammer-down price. It’s also worth mentioning that a sharp PSA 7 sold for an impressive $12,405 on the same day.
