Cakes & Sugarcraft  |  December/January 2017–18
This issue is brimming with festive fun. For beginners we have some Scandi-style folksy cupcakes in a classic red and white palette. Airbrushing fans will have fun creating a snowy sky for the jumping gingerbread cake. If you’re looking for modelling projects there are three little mice who would look great on top of a Christmas cake or, if you’re after something a little more challenging, give the gravity-defying cover cake a go.
For other occasions, try your hand at a space-themed birthday cake complete with matching blast off biscuits or experiment with cake painting and wafer paper to create a beautiful wedding cake project. And, if you’re worried you won’t be able to go four years without Big Ben, why not bring him to life in your own home for a New Year spectacle sure to wow your guests?
