From a Paisley tenement to a Kintyre castle

A BIRMINGHAM accountant who began life as a ‘street urchin’ is selling his 19th century castle.

In his youth, Roland Luckman shared a bedroom with his three siblings, separated from the Paisley tenement flat’s main room by a curtain and travelled on tramcars.

Today, Roland, 66, has the choice of 15 classic vehicles, including a Rolls Royce, a Warwickshire house surrounded by 22 acres and Kilchrist Castle’s 10 acres near Campbeltown.
