Black mark for school

CAMPBELTOWN Grammar School is being exploited as a ‘political football’ in the general election campaign after being placed near the bottom of a national exam result league table, claim education chiefs.

A local authority education officer, politicians and the Grammar’s head teacher have rallied to the school’s defence after the publication of the exam league tables by Scottish Education Minister Michael Forsyth.
