CHARITABLE crowds took shelter in Kirk Street’s Red Cross Hall as the rain poured down outside.
The hall was host to a coffee morning in aid of the Mairi Semple Fund, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, on Saturday October 7.
The fund is dedicated to providing financial assistance for people with cancer living in Kintyre and Gigha, and making donations to the cancer treatment centres accessed by them.
