Award of Military Medal

HIS MANY friends, and Kintyrians in general, will be interested to learn that Sergeant Duncan Brown, of the 10th Field Battery, 3rd Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery (first Canadian contingent), has been awarded the Military Medal for ‘bravery in the field’.

Sergeant Brown, who is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Duncan Brown, Killeonan, joined the colours at St Catherine’s, Ontario, on August 6, 1914, and has seen much service.
