East Kintyre retains tourism director

ARGYLL and the Isles Tourism Co-operative (AITC) has seen a change at the top but Torrisdale’s Niall Macalister Hall remains as a director.

At the recent annual general meeting in Inveraray Castle Gavin Dick stood down as chairman and Loch Melfort hotel’s Calum Ross stepped up from his vice chair role. Portavadie’s Iain Jurgensen have taken on the role of vice chair.

AITC chair Calum Ross thanked Gavin for his leadership over the last three years saying: ‘Both Gavin and I are founding directors of AITC and it is no exaggeration to say he has worked tirelessly for tourism in Argyll and the Isles.
