Accent actors accrue raffle funds

A DRAMA group’s players staged a fundraising drive at Campbeltown Co-op.

At the recent event, Accent Players’ Martha Rennie and Maureen Johnson sold raffle tickets, to win a hamper of festive food, to raise money towards staging ‘A Dummy Run’, a comedy by Robert Wilson which is currently in rehearsal.

The hamper winner was Helen Watson from Sound of Kintyre. The play will be one of the shows at next year’s drama festival on Friday February 23 in Victoria Hall.
