A CRUCIAL budget meeting may have given the go-ahead to plans to raise council tax by three per cent.

Argyll and Bute councillors met yesterday (Thursday) at Kilmory to vote on a three per cent increase in council tax across the local authority as part of the council’s spending plans for the year ahead.
