MOK Fest 25th ceilidh sold out

A CAPACITY crowd filled MOK Fest’s 25th year ceilidh at Victoria hall.

Headline acts Dalriada Connections band, KSPB, Rose Room and Heron Valley had some serious competition from a Carradale character.

Neeni MacDougall has been to every ceilidh for 25 years and last Friday received a standing ovation as he tried to upstage the stars, during an interval, with two renditions on his mouth organ.

Glasgow string quartet Rose Room brought a taste of 1930s’ Parisian jazz and gypsy swing numbers in a lively show before Heron Valley packed the dance floor with more traditional tunes.
