PLAYERS drove to Machrihanish to compete in a range of events including the charity Open, the George Durnan competition, the Texas scramble and the Am- Am.
Teenage green keeper, Cameron Wylie, 18, enjoyed his best week on his beloved links as he stormed to victory in the club’s first Open competition of the season.
This was Wylie’s maiden win and playing off a handicap of 22, he reached the turn in a three over par 38 and despite a tougher back nine of 47 scored.
