Might MOK marathon be one of Scotland’s hilliest routes?

GLEN Scotia’s inaugural Mull of Kintyre marathon should prove to be a vintage event.

The Saturday March 25, 2017, event’s return leg, on the Learside Road, with at least five hills beyond 350ft elevation, may make the tough race one of the hilliest in Scotland, if not the UK.

The race, entirely on road or pavements, is limited to 100 runners and starts and finishes in Campbeltown, at the ferry terminal.
