HOUSING association residents in Campbeltown are incandescent over a scheme to possibly demolish their homes.

There were angry scenes at a packed public meeting in the Guide hall on Tuesday evening, where it was revealed that Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) expects to lose nearly £800,000 in the current financial year due to large numbers of empty homes across the county.
