A look back at some 2016 Kintyre events

JANUARY – Two Scotbet employees gambled on an appearance at a cool Dalintober New Year’s Day fundraiser, and raised £863 for the hospital’s Sunshine room and £436 to the Dalintober beach fund.

In the betting shop, Gillian Hall and Pauline Baines advertised the Dalintober ‘Dip for Dosh’ – a chilly New Year swim in Campbeltown Loch – and were so taken with the idea they decided to enter. Gillian Hall and Pauline Baines.


FEBRUARY – A Campbeltown audience sat enthralled as the Rotary Club’s Young Musician of the Year 2015 tinkled the ivories and gave a trumpet recital.
